FestiMeter® is a proprietary tool developed by NEXO QA, the company responsible for organizing the International Conference on Software Testing expo:QA®.

As an event organizer, we also faced several important challenges:

We wanted to get feedback from the audience and do away with the paper ballots we distributed after each presentation.

We also wanted to be able to give a Public Award to the best presenter during the conference’s closing event instead of announcing it a few days later.

And we wanted to retain our audience until the final event and also allow our sponsors to hold prize drawings among the audience.

We initially developed a solution oriented to professional conferences, but we soon noticed that film festivals organizers faced exactly the same challenges and were still relying on manually filled-in paper forms that required a lot of back-office processing.

And that’s how we devised FestiMeter®… We have adapted it with the help of several film festivals organizers, and now it’s available to everyone. We hope you enjoy and make the most of it at your own festival!
